About
I’m a middle-aged dad who builds games in whatever quiet moments the day allows — after bedtime, on weekends, in the margins.
Press Pause Garage is my studio. It’s named for the thing I do constantly: pause whatever I’m playing because someone needs something. A snack. A hug. A ride. Life.
I love 90s racing games. I especially love the era when PC gaming felt raw and unpolished and dangerous — when a game could ship on three floppy disks and still blow your mind.
No Prep is my first game. It’s a 90s-inspired sidescroller racer — think Street Rods 2 with a nitrous purge and a can of hair gel. No rules. No traction compound. Just show up and race.
This devlog is where I document the build — the good days, the bad runs, and everything in between.
Built in stolen hours. Shipped with love.
